Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are the third largest cultivated mushroom in the world. China is the world leader in oyster production, contributes nearly 85 percent of the total world production of about a million tons Pre-training adoption, the mean score of the respondents was found to be 10.56. Whereas post-training adoption, the finding Indicated that the post-training adoption, mean score of respondents were found to be18.77.  Finding indicated that change in adoption was low i.e  58.66 percent of respondents 38.67 percent had a medium level of adoption, only 2.67 percent of the respondents had a high level of adoption about Mushroom cultivation.  The difference in their mean score of respondents was found to be 8.21 and their economic status also improve after adoption of that technology.
